The use of labels in society has led us to falsely judge people based on hearsay. It is thought that people would rather categorize and keep their own labels than see for themselves. However there are those who will look at people with an open mind and give their colleagues a chance at proving themselves. Ideally labels should not be given however we do not live in a perfect society and many assume that others should perform better than they do without being realistic.
